A decorative touch to your jar candle, this two-in-one set includes a topper and a lid, the topper gather the heat of the flame to make candle burn more evenly and avoid tunneling, the lid can put out the flame and keep away dust from your candle when not burning. 

Different than traditional fully sealed lid, our candle lid design does not create a vacuum when extinguishing the fire.

This set designed to fit jar candles with a diameter of 2.7 to 3.1in (7-8cm), compatible with our 8 oz candles.

WARNING: Please do not touch or move the candle topper until the flame has been extinguished and the topper has cooled down.

Candle Care

To fully maximize the enchantment of your wood wick candle, it is important to provide it with proper care. Here are some tips for a better experience burning your SCC candles:

 

burn enough time- the first time you light your wood wick candle, be sure to burn it for around an hour, this helps the wax to melt completely to the edges of the container to prevent “tunneling”.
 
trim the wick- every time before relighting your candle, trim the wick to 1/8" to 3/16" tall to keep the wax clean and burning nicely (you can use a wick trimmer or nail clipper).
 
avoid burning for too long- burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. 
 
burn in sight- never leave a burning candle unattended, be sure to extinguish the candle before leaving the room.
 
safely store your candles- place candle on a stable, heat resistant surface away from flammable objects before lighting, and keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.

Silver candle topper

Absolutely beautiful candle topper that saves my candles from tunneling and also improves on other toppers I've seen by fully covering the circumference edges and including a decorative lid. It has an inner lip on the underside as well so that it can fit multiple candle sizes. I will likely repurchase for gifting!
